A large-scale drug awareness effort in Italy has gone beyond one million informational booklets distributed in the past month. Approximately hundreds of volunteers across the country are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in cities, neighbourhoods and local businesses. The campaign focuses on helping young people make informed decisions, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a understandable way.
The initiative forms part of Scientology-supported social betterment activities, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
